A cracking Yarn to hit cinema screens

Still from Yarn

The acclaimed documentary Yarn will be shown in over 40 UK cinemas from October 7th, bringing the crafts of crochet and knitting to the big screen.

It's not just granny squares though: Yarn introduces us to people in four different countries, showing us graffiti artists, circus performers and structural designers, all using handcrafted work to take 'a creative stance'.

Directed by Una Lorenzen and co-directed and produced by Heather Millard and Thordur Jonsson, the film was on the official selection lists for SXSW and Goteborg Film Festival 2016.
