Renegade, a 3D pen designed to work with recycled plastic bottles, has doubled its crowdfunding goal on Kickstarter after getting funded in just two days.
The device prints 3D models, even ones made from 2D images converted by Renegade's online system, into 3D stencils. The team suggests you bring rare captured Pokémon to life but the options are limited only by the user's imagination (and perhaps steadiness of hand).
Accompanying Renegade is ChupaCut, a manual shredder that turns plastic bottles into strips for use with the pen, saving money and giving plastic a new life.
The project is now over £50,000 funded and it looks like it'll keep going. Check out the video to see Renegade in action.
