According to a recent survey by Greenpeace, four out of five people around the world think it's important that a new smartphone can be easily repaired if it gets damaged, and almost all of us believe 'designed to last' is a key feature for a new phone.

However, that's not often the case and getting our phones repaired isn't always an easy task. So, voila, Greenpeace has recruited Kyle Wiens, Founder and CEO of online repair community and parts retailer iFixit, to offer some tips on improving the longevity of our gadgets.
