Walls of Benin doesn't make pyjamas just for sleeping in. Oh no: this brands wants you to wear its PJs in bed, around the house and on the street. And TBH that's fine, because their bold and colourful prints are pretty stunning.
Currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, Walls of Benin combines centuries-old African wax print designs with modern digital printing technology for its luxury loungewear. The fabric comes from mills in Portugal and the pieces are put together at 'ethical production houses' located in Kenya, says the brand, which creates new jobs.
The ladies' sizes are made from a mix of silk and cotton mix, but the men's collection is made from Tencel – a more sustainable, natural fabric made from botanical pulp fibre blended with cotton.
Early bird pyjama pledges start at £100, with smaller rewards available like African organic cotton tote bags and tees to support the brand.
