Give it some Lipp: new colour tints are on the menu

Dr. Lipp's Moisturising Colour Tint

Dr. Lipp has launched a new Moisturising Colour Tint in three tasty colours and only four ingredients.

The fresh lip tints contain edible plant pigments (AKA anthocyanins) to provide colour and, for Dr. Lipp, a handy way to name the new products. Choose from coral Red Radish, natural pink Sweet Potato and burgundy Elderberry (£6.99 each) and see if you can taste the titular ingredients.

Based on the formulation of Dr. Lipp's nipple balm, they aren't vegan – in fact the main ingredient is lanolin, which the brand says comes from the wool of free-roaming Australian sheep who are shorn in the summer to keep them cool. However the two other ingredients, a pigment disperser and a preservative, are both natural and made from organically grown, GMO-free plants.

As for parabens, fragrances, sulfites, mineral oil, petrolatum, colouring agents and silicones and other nasties, it's a no from the doctor.
