People Tree has launched its latest collaboration: an exclusive collection of playful tops designed by Peter Jensen.
Choose sweatshirts with bee or rabbit prints or T-shirts with a cat or watermelon design; they're all 100 per cent Fairtrade-certified, organic cotton and made by Assisi Garments in South India. A social business, Assisi Garments 'started by providing training and employment for deaf, mute and economically disadvantaged women', says People Tree – and makes gorgeous stuff like these tops.
People Tree also has new collaboration with V&A museum – organic cotton dresses, separates and a fabulous boilersuit in prints by Arts and Crafts designers William Morris and CFA Voysey. They're pretty but relaxed, perfect for dressing up or down.
The V&A range is made by Mumbai's Creative Handicrafts, a social enterprise employing disadvantaged women living in slum communities.
Pro tip: you'll find a few pieces from from previous Peter Jensen and V&A collections in the People Tree sale right now too.
