Lush gets the Glow Sticks out for plastic-free beauty rave

Models for Lush Glow Sticks

Following Lush's limited-edition Slap Sticks solid foundation collection, the brand has declared it party time with five solid highlighting products called Glow Sticks.

Available from August 20th for just a month, Glow Sticks (£11.95 each) are designed to add colour and shimmer to cheekbones, lips, eyelids – wherever you want – without plastic glitter. The sparkle comes from synthetic mica whipped up in a lab, which Lush says is more uniform than natural mica and therefore better for make-up.

Lush Glow Sticks Peacock

The solid sticks are vegan-friendly and have a base of moisturising argan oil harvested by a women's co-operative in Morocco, with organic, extra virgin coconut oil sourced from Nias in Indonesia.

Lush Glow Sticks Ibis

The shades are inspired by nature: they're all named after birds with dazzling plumage. Choose from turquoise Peacock, purple Rock Dove, warm pink Ibis, silver Lark and glittery pink Robin.
