The Spring 2019 H&M Conscious Collection has landed, full of the joys of the season: floaty fabrics, frills and florals galore.
H&M says each one of the 'modern romantic designs' is made from a sustainably-sourced material including 100 per cent organic cotton, Tencel or recycled polyester.
Blush pink, earthy tones and white pervade in the new range – fronted by notable women including Naomie Harris and Rosario Dawson – that begs the wearer to write poetry in a flower field (or something equally romantic).
Check out the warm brown halterneck pleated tube top (main picture) and matching tiered lace maxi-skirt, both in recycled polyester, and the organic cotton white floral print mini-dress with ruffled V-neck and a dropped waist.
H&M says the new collection 'is a statement of intent to take responsibility and lead the change towards a more sustainable fashion industry'.
"This Conscious Collection is a wonderful step towards meeting one of our main goals – to use only 100 per cent recycled or other sustainably-sourced materials by 2030," comments Isak Roth, Global Sustainability Manager at H&M.
