H&M's AW18 Conscious Exclusive collection debuts today, with lush autumnal textures 'inspired by a lost fragment of an ancient tapestry'. As with all H&M's Conscious collections there's eco-friendly and recycled fabrics, made gorgeous.
The high-street name has even rescued some Econyl – itself a fabric made from recycled materials – from a previous collection, so there's double green points right there. Elsewhere there's velvet made from recycled polyester, plus Tencel, organic silk and recycled cashmere.
Key pieces include an all-over sequinned flower jacket made from recycled PET bottles, a full-length black coat with waist-high side slits made from a recycled wool blend, and sculptural earrings made from recycled plastic. Since party season is approaching, check out the slingback stilettos too – they feature ribbons made from recycled polyester and Tencel.
It's all very stylish, in a very wearable colour palette of black, off-white, rose pink, mustard, dusty blues and light grey, with items ideal for the office alongside elegant evening pieces.
