Vegan leather brand James&Co is about to launch a new line made from Pinatex – a fabric manufactured from pineapples – as well as putting water-based (rather than chemical-derived) vegan-friendly fabrics at the heart of its range.
James&Co says it's also working with non-profit organisations supported by eco initiative Good360 to donate leftover stock when a line is discontinued.
"James&Co is big on supply chain transparency," says Anne Hurley, Founder of James&Co. "At the end of the chain when we have stock we need to 'move on', we look to donate it."
The brand, as a result of these actions, says it's now '100 per cent sustainable' as well as offering some pretty stylish vegan outwear.
