The Soap Kitchen cleans up gardeners' hands with new skincare

The Soap Kitchen Gardener's Orange & Cedar Soap Scrub Bar

Hands up: who's been in the garden this week? The Soap Kitchen, based in Devon, has formulated two new skincare products especially for gardeners.

Gardener's Hand Cream (£7.50/50ml) is fragranced with lavender, cedarwood and orange and contains sweet almond oil, aloe vera, vitamin E, chamomile, ginseng and comfrey leaf with a hydrating base of sunflower oil and cold pressed borage seed oil. Despite its name it can be used on the hands, face and body, and is MIT and paraben-free.

The handmade Gardener's Orange & Cedar Soap Scrub Bar (£4.50/75g) contains olive oil, coconut oil and responsibly sourced palm oil to moisturise and ground almond shell to help scrub hands clean, plus the scents of cedarwood and orange. The blocks come wrapped in handmade, fairtrade paper, all tied up with a ribbon.
