Streets of Walthamstow inspire Phannatiq SS17

Phannatiq models in recycled denim

Photos taken of the streets of Walthamstow, East London have inspired a pattern in Phannatiq's new SS17 collection.

The monochrome Fly Tipping print is accompanied by Cat Stripes, the London label's own take on nautical stripes, and used on organic, unbleached bamboo, recycled denim and organic cotton.

Phannatiq's fashion collection is presented with the tagline 'Clothes for People', with pieces designed for anyone regardless of age, size and, for some garments, gender. The SS17 collection also includes dresses suitable for maternity wear, making them multipurpose.

Nods to this year's key trends include crop tops and dungaree dresses, but Phannatiq's edgy urban style is designed as an antidote to seasonal style rules.

The label also states its garments are made using sustainable manufacture processes with workers employed responsibly.
