British-blended tonics make a more natural G&T

Luscombe Drinks tonic waters

Gin might have been big in Britain in the late 17th century but a G&T is the tipple du jour right now too – and is set to be even more terribly British with the addition of three new tonics from Devon's own Luscombe Drinks.

The traditional Devon tonic water contains Indian quinine, Devon spring water, a zing from vitamin-C packed Japanese citrus fruit yuzu, and a floral note from elderflower.

If you want a bigger elderflower punch there's a whole new tonic dedicated to the hand-picked wild blooms, or try the grapefruit version, boasting succulent pink grapefruit extract. You'll find Indian quinine and spring water from Devon in these too.

They're sweetened with raw cane sugar, which makes them a healthier soft drink than some others as well.

Luscombe Drinks has been making small-batch drinks on its Devon farm since 1975 and has a nod from the Soil Association for sustainable farming.
