Did you know that the energy in spent coffee grounds can be used to roast fresh batches of coffee? This superbly energy-efficient technique is being used to create new coffee from The Black Farmer.
A Taste of the Caribbean features coffee from Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Cuba, while A Taste of Africa celebrates a cup o' joe from Kenya, Ethiopia and Rwanda. Both varieties are now available in a whole bean version and in roasted and ground (£4.79 each).
Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, AKA, The Black Farmer, says his brand is 'about making real connections with real people' – and is getting involved in tea as well.
He says: "By taking my brand into tea and coffee – both beverages I love – I am supporting and recognising other black farmers doing great work around the world."
