Scottish textiles brand Paper Houses Design has launched a new collection called Signals, 'inspired by the wires that run into our homes, connecting us to each other'.
"In a world where such wires are so important in our daily lives, it's also important to take some time out to reconnect with yourself," says the lifestyle brand, and it's not wrong. There's also inspiration from the Scottish landscape, life and community, as well as a big hit of mid-century design.
It's this tried-and-tested style that will boost the longevity of the Signals prints, cushions, tote bags and zip cases – they're designed to be used for years to come, withstanding fads and fashions.
The cotton pieces are also printed in the UK with water-based inks, giving them a sustainability edge over some more harmful printing processes. The brand adds that the packaging is eco-friendly and reusable too.
Paper Houses Design has launched Signals on Kickstarter, with pledges for tote bags starting at £25 and cushions at £40.
