Fill Your House For Free is back on Channel 4 today with style guru Gok Wan taking over from Kirstie Allsopp.
Gok will enlist the help of master craftspeople and upcycling extraordinaires including Max McMurdo to help people transform their homes using second-hand furniture and pieces made out of, well, junk. Budgets are slashed to their bare minimums but we're promised projects including sourcing an entire kitchen, including the sink.
In the first episode of Gok's Fill Your House For Free (newish name, new daytime slot of 4pm), deli owners Gelsomino and Kristine want to make their St Albans home a smidge more welcoming.
Here's a trailer, with some infectious enthusiasm from Gok.
If you were wondering, Kirstie hasn't fled Channel 4; she's still spreading the word about pan drawers on Love It or List It and Location, Location, Location and creating festive wonderlands in her Christmas craft competitions. In fact, you can take part. She's also presenting The Handmade Fair at Hampton Court Palace on September 16th to 18th, the busy bee.
