The London Homebuilding & Renovating Show is back, bringing an almost overwhelming bounty of self-build and DIY advice to London's ExCel from September 22nd to 24th 2017.

Sustainability is a buzzword in homebuilding so if you're planning an eco-friendly extension, a renovation, a bit of decorating or a whole new house, there will be experts, workshops and product demos aplenty to help you out.

If you head over on the Saturday you could meet celebrity experts Charlie Luxton from Building the Dream – who will be talking about eco living and homes of the future – and interior design expert Julia Kendell from DIY SOS –The Big Build and 60 Minute Makeover.

British glazing expert Everest is sponsoring the show so there will be plenty of info about how double-glazed windows, conservatories and doors can save energy, while the Potton Design Lounge will hold sessions on building sustainable timber homes with self-build expert Potton.

There will also be advice on securing support for investing in renewable heating and Tim Pullen, author of green building guide Simply Sustainable Homes, will be among the specialists to be found in the Ask the Expert area inside the Advice Centre.

Free ticket T&Cs:

1. A pair of tickets is worth £36 based on the standard on-the-door rate, or £24 based on the advanced ticket price. Tickets are valid for entry on one day of the exhibition. Children aged 16 years and under are able to attend free of charge up to a maximum of four children per pair of tickets.

2. Please note that the free daily seminars and masterclasses can't be booked in advance but visitors should arrive early to each slot to guarantee a seat. Please see more about seminar and workshop timetable via the show website here

3. The one-on-one appointments can only be booked on entry to the show and are offered on a first come first served basis. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.
