The Little Greene Paint Company's paint and wallpaper are pretty satisfying already, but throughout October the brand is also helping to promote and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
A donation from sales of every tin of paint and roll of wallpaper sold this month will go to national charity Breast Cancer Haven. Last year, over £12,000 was raised for the charity through Little Greene's campaign.
And, of course, Little Greene's Dorchester Pink Colour Scales are especially apt. Based on the original Dorchester Pink – 'a restful shade originally referred to in a 1960s article on an interior in the Dorchester hotel' – the four graduating tones are both classic and modern.
"Pink is such a joyous colour that imbues the home with a sense of life and wellbeing – the same focus that Breast Cancer Haven adopts to help improve the quality of life those affected by cancer," says Little Greene's Managing Director David Mottershead.
"Breast Cancer Haven provides free personalised care and support for patients nationally and the funds Little Greene helps raise make a significant difference."
Little Greene manufactures its FSC- or PEFC-certified wallpapers and sustainable water- and vegetable oil-based paints in the UK. Its paint tins are made using over 50 per cent recycled steel and are recyclable too.
