Green People's range of sun protection lotions now contain a higher proportion of organic ingredients and improved antioxidants like edelweiss and myrrh.
The range includes Organic Children Scent Free Sun Lotion SPF 30 (£18.50/150ml), Scent Free Sun Lotion SPF 30 (£22/200ml, £14.50/100ml or £6.50/30ml), both of which contain beeswax, and Sun Lotion SPF 15 with Natural Tan Accelerator (£21/200ml or £13.50/100ml) with green tea and avocado. Offering protection from broad-spectrum UVA and UVB rays, the creams are also soothing for the skin.
As well as giving a donation to the Marine Conservation Society from sales of a selection of its sun care products, Green People says it doesn't use chemicals that can harm the marine environment.
"Potentially damaging chemicals that mimic the effect of oestrogen are common in sun lotions, and these can have a dramatic impact on aquatic life and play a role in coral bleaching," explains Green People founder Charlotte Vøhtz.
