Brands show what they're made of for Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Week

It's Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Week (May 7th to 13th), with the focus on what, exactly, 'organic' means. Too many companies use the brand with little or nothing to back up their claims – basically, greenwashing.

Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Week is an initiative led by the Soil Association, the people who certify truly organic products, including food, clothes and skincare. 'When you see our symbol, you know it's a sign of quality, trust and integrity', it says.

The week will round off with the Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Weekend (Saturday May 12th and Sunday May 13th), a two-day drop-in event at The Hoxton, Holborn, London. Organic-certified brands like Naissance, Pai Skincare, Pukka Herbs and Tabitha James Kraan are getting involved with myth-debunking discussions, treatments, skin consultations, wellness workshops and more, some of which are free to attend.

Look out for #WhatImMadeOf and #OBWW on the socials to see what else is happening this week.
