The Good Wardrobe opens doors to Bristol

You may know The Good Wardrobe: an online platform connecting consumers who admire craftsmanship or are sick of fast fashion with ethical services that help clothes live longer.

So far, the website has only covered London-based and online conscious fashion designers, menders and makers, but thanks to a crowdfunding campaign it looks set to extend to Bristol – and beyond, as founder Zoë Robinson plans to expand The Good Wardrobe's directory and editorial sections.

The 'antithesis of fast fashion' now has a stretch target after smashing its original Crowdfunder goal and there are some cool rewards, including a sewing pattern for £12 pledges and invitations to clothes swapping events, salvage sales and The Good Wardrobe Bristol launch party.

Here's the video with Zoë Robinson explaining why online community hubs like this are so important for ethical business.
