Fairtrade Fortnight 2018 opens for business

Fairtrade workers

Fairtrade Fortnight is back: two weeks of celebrating the people who grow our food and promoting a fairer way of doing things for farmers and workers.

From February 26th to March 11th 2018, you'll find lots going on online and IRL, like people pledging to make their snacks fair-trade – you'll spot plenty of photos of Fairtrade bananas from Co-op, Waitrose and Sainsbury's on social media, no doubt – and others hosting a #FairtradeFeast. By throwing a dinner party or just inviting friends round for ethically sourced coffee and cake you could raise money for the Fairtrade Foundation or simply awareness of its cause.
