Organic tea brand Pukka Herbs says it will donate 100 per cent of online UK sales this Black Friday (November 24th) to charities in its native Bristol.

The Forest of Avon Trust works to support the area's woodlands and promote the benefits of getting closer to trees, while The Matthew Tree Project helps people who have been hit by crisis and risk homelessness, ensuring they don't go hungry.

"We believe strongly in using business as a force for good, creating circles of benevolence so that people, plants and the planet can all benefit," says Pukka Herbs in a blog. "For Black Friday, we wanted to be able to specifically give something back to our Bristol community."

The Pukka team will also be out and about in Bristol (Cabot Circus, MShed, Bristol Museum and Gloucester Road) this Friday collecting donations to the charities, which the company will then match.
