Watch this: The True Cost

If you haven't seen The True Cost, or haven't watched it recently, there's no better time: the hard-hitting documentary was made in the wake of the 2013 Rana Plaza disaster in Bangladesh and explores the same themes as Fashion Revolution Week (which is happening right now, if it passed you by).

The 2015 film simply asks the question 'Who pays the price for our clothing?' Because if your fashion came fast, you can bet someone is.

Here's the trailer, which in itself is a tough watch.

But The True Cost itself has a positive message: we can do better than this, and we have the means to do so. It's available on Netflix and the usual digital retailers, but you can also download it straight from the website ($9.99, about £7.80).
