Earth Hour 2017 marks decade of impact

Dark road

This Saturday marks ten years Earth Hour, but it's not just sitting around in a dark room for an hour. Oh no.

As this film from WWF shows, rather emotionally, a decade of Earth Hour campaigns has resulted in proper impact, from supporting climate action projects worldwide and driving policy in Russia, Argentina, Ecuador and Wales, to creating the world's first Earth Hour forest in Uganda.

It's also a whole lot of fun – millions of people will be getting involved on March 25th at 8.30pm (local time) – and the awesome thing is, you can too.
