Hotel group to plant 1,000 veg gardens

Plant sprouting

If you stay at a Mercure, Novotel or Ibis hotel in the next few years, look out for a vegetable garden supplying the kitchen with greens.

Parent company AccorHotels has made new sustainability commitments including pledges to plant 1,000 urban vegetable gardens in its hotels, to reduce food waste by 30 per cent and to make all new buildings and renovations low-carbon by 2020.
