More than a tea party: put the kettle on for Fes-tea-val

National Tea Day (April 21st) is going to be a big one this year, with a whole festival celebrating the not-so-humble cuppa.

Fes-tea-val is a tea party of epic proportions: two days of tea-based merriment taking place at London's Chiswick House and Gardens on April 21st and 22nd 2018.

A Tea 'n' Treat Village will be full of cakes and biccies, including celebrity masterclasses from Mich Turner MBE on baking and decorating, and Alana Spencer on pairing tea and cakes, while there's also plenty of opportunity to buy amazing teas and enjoy them in a picnic area.

Check out tea-infused beer and tea cocktails – and make your own at a mixology class – with live music, or go a bit more cultural at an exhibition of tea ware and global tea-drinking customs inside the fabulous Chiswick House.

Importantly, it's not all a par-tea: Fes-tea-val's Vitali-Tea Garden is all about the health benefits of tea, such as its great antioxidant properties, with a chance to try organic blends, talk to health experts and tea pros, and even get involved in yoga activities.
